Jamie Carragher issues public plea to Liverpool over Florian Wirtz - ‘It’s not right'

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has pleaded for Andoni Iraola to drop Florian Wirtz from the starting line-up, with the German struggling to make his mark since his move from Bayer Leverkusen. The midfielder hasn't hit the heights he did in Germany, and was poor in the defeat to Manchester City. Enzo Maresca's side cruised to a 3-0 victory following Ryan Gravenberch's dismissal just after the hour mark. Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku and Rayan Cherki all got on the scoresheet for the visitors on a miserable day for Iraola's side.
