Reports: FIFA to share World Cup private equity files after UEFA pressure

FIFA will open access to confidential documents detailing president Gianni Infantino's controversial proposal to bring private investors into the World Cup, allowing Council members to review the FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE) plans, according to multiple reports. FIFA communicated this measure to all FIFA Council members before Monday's deadline through its secretary general Mattias Grafström. In order to respect FIFA's confidentiality obligations, world football's governing body has invited Council members to express their interest within the next two weeks to consult the documents, in person and under specific conditions, at FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.
