'Tank' Davis settles civil lawsuit over October 2025 battery allegations

Former three-division boxing champion Gervonta "Tank" Davis has settled a civil lawsuit in Miami in which a woman accused him of battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping and intentional infliction of emotional distress, according to court records in Miami. The woman's attorney, Richard Wolfe, told USA Today that settlement terms were confidential. Davis, 32, still faces criminal charges related to the alleged incident in October 2025, according to online records. The woman, who was Davis' former girlfriend, said the incident took place at Tootsie's Cabaret, a strip club in Miami where she works as a VIP cocktail server.
