Valparaíso takes down Purdue with shocking double OT buzzer beater

This young NCAA basketball season has already seen its share of upsets , with Oklahoma’s embarrassing defeat to East Texas A&M still fresh in the memory. But Valparaiso added to that list with a dramatic last-second win to bring down Purdue 83-80 in a wild double-overtime game that included two buzzer beaters. Valpo guard Justus McNair hit the game-winning jumper in the second OT as time expired to send Matt Painter’s Boilermakers to 0-2 on the season.
