Is the North Stand rebuild affecting Aston Villa on the pitch?

Aston Villa remain winless at home this season after failing to hold on to a late lead against Brentford. John McGinn completed a comeback for the hosts in the 77th minute, but Kristoffer Ajer scored Brentford’s second of the afternoon moments later. After previously losing to Arsenal and Nottingham Forest at home, this was an improvement against a Brentford side who have been excellent so far this campaign and remain unbeaten after eight matches in all competitions. Keith Andrews’ side also beat Villa home and away last term, while knocking them out of the Carabao Cup on penalties.
