Michael Page joins Misfits after UFC deal ends

Misfits Boxing has announced the signing of Michael "Venom" Page after his contract with the UFC expired in September. Page, 39, joins Misfits -- which was co-founded by influencer KSI -- after going 5-1 in the UFC across 2½ years. Page will join the crossover promotion company in a "multi-fight, multi-year agreement" and is set to make his boxing debut "in the coming months," according to a statement issued Saturday. "I've been in combat sports for a long time and I've had plenty of options, but MF Sports is the right fit for me," Page added in the statement.
