Yella fever as Clonduff come out on top in Down

Páirc Esler was a sea of yellow after the full-time whistle as Clonduff ended a 26-year drought to claim the Down title by beating neighbours Burren 1-14 to 1-10 in the senior final. The Yellas dominated the first half but only led by five points at the interval and while the park was packed, the action on the pitch was somewhat stilted with nerves clearly playing their part in this battle two well-matched local rivals.
